Title: Labor Relations Officer
The Labor Relations Officer will lead and implement strategic employee and labor relations initiatives. This role is critical in maintaining industrial peace, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and managing sensitive administrative and labor cases. This role will cover all company commissary sites.
- Employee & Labor Relations
- Develop and implement short- and long-term ER & LR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and Department Orders.
- Administrative Investigation
- Serve as consultant/SME in administrative cases (pre-investigation to decision).
- Handle critical/sensitive cases and lead the Committee on Discipline (CODI) for SH cases.
- Develop and deliver LR training modules.
- Labor Case Management
- Represent the company in hearings at DOLE, NLRC, and similar venues.
- Maintain and update labor case database for leadership reporting.
- Third-Party Contractor Management
- Review and implement service agreements and scorecards in coordination with Corporate Purchasing.
- Lead compliance coordination for internal audits and PE engagement protocols.
- Develop training modules and review service-level agreements.
- Code of Conduct Administration
- Interpret and update Code of Conduct provisions.
- Lead the review and implementation of new policies.
- Management Support
- Develop LR strategies to support business initiatives.
- Create communication, transition, and risk mitigation plans.
- Coordinate with DOLE and other government agencies.
- Financials
- Prepare HR-LR budget projections and monitor expenditures.
Job Qualifications:
- A graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Human Resources, or related field.
- IR Certification is an advantage.
- Must have at least five (5) years of solid experience in labor and employee relations.
- Must have experience in creating and facilitating/implementing employee relations activities
- Preferably with experience working in a manufacturing or similar industry.
- Possess excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills
- Demonstrates strong clerical and administrative capabilities, complemented by excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willing to do fieldworkor site visitations as required.
- Must be amenable to work on a hybrid work setup in Canlubang, Laguna.
