Title: Finance Specialist - FP&A (Laguna)
The Finance Specialist for Financial Planning & Analysis supports the finance team by managing essential financial analyses, reporting, and regulatory compliance activities. This role includes preparing and reviewing financial data, contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Assists in preparing and updating budgets and forecasts, collaborating with various departments to ensure projections align with strategic goals. Support variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actuals and projections.
- Provides financial insights to guide business decisions, supporting cost analysis and highlighting potential financial risks.
- Conducts regular balance sheet reviews to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Investigate and explain significant variances to maintain data integrity.
- Maintains and updates accrual accounts, such as T&W (transport and warehouse) accruals, to reflect accurate expenses, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Ensures financial activities comply with internal policies, supporting the team in implementing improvements and ensuring consistency in procedures.
- Stays informed on regulatory requirements and conduct periodic audits to verify compliance with government standards.
Job Qualifications:
- A graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or any equivalent course.
- With five (5) years of work experience in financial budgeting, planning and analysis, forecasting, and compliance.
- Must have experience in monthly acruals, specfically closing activities.
- Must have strong organizational skills with keen attention to details.
- Must have strong communication skills for stakeholder interaction and reporting.
- Preferably, a CPA or holder of equivalent certification (CIA, CCSA, etc.).
- Proficient in using Microsoft applications with familiarity and basic knowledge in SAP.
- Must be willing to work on a hybrid set-up in Canlubang Laguna.
