Finance Specialist - Cost Management

Job Description:

  • Preparing a detailed financial plan or budget for new business acquisitions.
  • Collaborating with PPIC, Engineering, Projects Team, R&D, Store SBU, Logistics etc... in gathering and determining critical information for financial projections.
  • Creating and maintaining financial models for a new business financial outlook.
  • Converting cost calculations and allocations for new products.
  • Reviewing standard product costing from R&D and checking for reasonableness against current and projected prices.
  • Determining and coordinating cost driver improvements and gaps between the business plan and actual results.

Job Qualifications:

  • A Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a finance-related course.
  • With at least three (3) years of relevant work experience specializing in Product Cost Management, Cost Accounting, or Cost Management and knowledgeable in various cost accounting principles (standard costing, activity-based costing, and cost allocation) and inventory management principles.
  • With at least three (3) years of work experience in any manufacturing industry at the same capacity.
  • Experience in using accounting software and ERP systems
  • Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (an advantage).
  • Amenable to work on a hybrid work set-up in Canlubang, Laguna.
