Title: Engineering Manager (Utility and Equipment)
The Engineering Manager for Utilities and Equipment will oversee plant engineering activities, ensuring the optimal performance of utilities and equipment while driving preventive maintenance, cost efficiency, project execution, and continuous improvement initiatives. It includes supervision, analysis, recommendation, and standardization of refrigeration system, compress air system, power system, steam system and preventive maintenance of equipment.
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of preventive maintenance programs and strategies.
- Manage the operation, reliability, and optimization of refrigeration, compressed air, steam, power, and water systems.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of utilities required for plant operations.
- Drive engineering projects, facility improvements, and expansion initiatives from planning through execution.
- Monitor and control maintenance budgets, utility consumption, and capital expenditures.
- Develop and coach engineering team members to build organizational capability and succession readiness.
- Champion compliance with EHS standards, GMP, Food Safety, and Quality requirements.
- Ensure adherence to applicable engineering, electrical, mechanical, sanitary, and building codes.
Job Qualifications
- A graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electromechanical, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field)
- Must be a licensed professional Engineer
- With at least five (5) years of managerial experience working in a manufacturing or production industry.
- Possess strong background in refrigeration and HVAC systems, electrical power systems, steam generation and distribution, compressed air systems, water utility systems, and rotating equipment operation and maintenance.
- With proven experience in preventive maintenance, utilities management, project management, and cost control.
- Has strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willling to work on a hybrid setup in Canlubang, Laguna.
