Title:  Engineering Manager (Equipment & Utilities)

 

The Engineering Manager is responsible for delivering effective and efficient execution, maintenance, and improvement of engineering operations in supporting the manufacturing requirements, including the overall supervision, maintenance, analysis, improvements, and standardization of Utilities systems which includes but not limited to Power, Compressed Air,  Chilled Water, Refrigeration, Water Treatment and Waste Water Treatment. 

 

  • Autonomous & Preventive Maintenance (CMMS) Management
    • Maintain defect-free equipment and update preventive maintenance standards.
    • Align maintenance strategies with stakeholders and approve PM changes.
  • Refrigeration System Management
    • Ensure reliability and efficiency of refrigeration systems.
    • Recommend upgrades and build site-wide refrigeration capabilities.
  • Utilities System Management
    • Ensure uninterrupted supply of utilities and compliance with codes.
    • Recommend asset acquisitions for future plant needs.
  • Project Management
    • Lead Capex projects from feasibility to completion.
    • Drive cost-saving initiatives and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Cost Control & Management
    • Monitor maintenance and utility costs to stay within budget.
    • Optimize resource utilization and lead savings initiatives.
  • People Development & Way of Working
    • Build team capabilities and implement succession planning.
    • Promote adherence to operational standards and best practices.
  • Safety, Environment, Health & Product Quality Support
    • Drive HSE compliance and develop regulatory master plans.
    • Build team capability in health, safety, and environment practices.
  • Compliance
    • Ensure adherence to company policies including GMP and safety
    • Support internal and external audits and regulatory requirements

 

Job Qualifications:

 

  • A graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in manufacturing engineering/utilities.
  • Possess a strong background in refrigeration, HVAC, control systems, and rotating equipment.
  • Has a strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Proficient in CMMS and engineering systems analysis.
  • Knowledge of regulatory codes and compliance standards.
  • Willing to be assigned on-site in Canlubang, Laguna.
