Title:  Cost Accounting Specialist

Summary:

 

The Cost Accounting Specialist is responsible for reviewing financial, balance sheet accounts, conducting variance analysis, standard costing, transfer pricing, budgeting, and forecasting.

 

  • Reviews significant variance on major profit & loss and balance sheet accounts.
  • Updates system set-up of standard cost and transfer price table.
  • Gathers and maintains actual data on manpower costs and operations provision.
  • Participates in cross-functional projects within supply chain and provides insights on financial impact.
  • Gathers, validates, and processes data using financial analysis tools.
  • Gathers, organizes, and maintains historical data related to budget preparation and identifies one time-off and recurring transactions.
  • Gathers and maintains current and historical financial data needed in the preparation of financial reports.
  • Track internal order of the capital expenditure and conducts inventory count.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • A graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent courses.
  • With at least one (1) year of work experience in product cost accounting or cost management.
  • With at least two (2) years of work experience in production or inventory planning operation in a food manufacturing industry.
  • Preferably, a licensed Certified Public Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor
  • Possess good communication skills, both in oral and written, as well as leadership skills.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision, attentive to details, and able to think out of the box
  • Must be willing to work on a hybrid set-up in Canlubang, Laguna.
