Title:  Manufacturing Technician

The Machine Operator is primarily responsible for the operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of assigned machine/equipment in accordance to proper handling instructions by manufacturer.

Production Line Management

•              Reports to APM any machine breakdown and troubles if it is beyond his capacity for proper endorsement to EMD technician/manufacturer’s after sales support.

•              Check raw materials for quality and quantity before loading to machine.

•              Ensures equipment is operating correctly by utilizing monitors and gauges on the equipment.

•              Performs preventive maintenance on designated machine in accordance to standard procedures and proper handling instructions

•              Monitors machine for problems and troubleshoots without delay to ensure continuous production.

•              Performs required start-up and shut-down activities on equipments

•              Performs required periodic cleaning on equipment/ machine

•              Prepares proper documentation in relation to downtime or repairs that where needed during the course of production.

•              Turn over document to APM at the end of the machine operator’s shift for recording/reporting purposes.

•              Operates assigned machine or equipment based on Standard     Operating Procedures (SOPs)

•              Cleans assigned equipment and work area at the end of each shift

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or vocational course graduate 

•    Experience as machine operator in the same industry an advantage Human Relations

•   Has satisfactory completed all necessary trainings and certifications needed to qualify as Machine Operator

•   Expected to upgrade knowledge and skills in case of machine upgrades or replacement

•  Basic knowledge of reports preparation, able to comprehend
